Since most entrepreneurs and small businesses need some level of technology assistance, TechStudents.net helps connect these businesses to tech savvy students skilled and interested in working on a project-by-project basis.

Technology students nationwide post their contact information, skills, role desired, availability, and hourly rate in hopes to work with a business in need of technology assistance.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses with technology projects utilize TechStudents.net to locate students with specific technology skills. For $29.99/month, businesses can post up to 3 jobs and/or review students’ profiles and contact students directly.   

Why is there a fee for entrepreneurs and small businesses?

TechStudents.net want to be sure the projects are real and businesses have the budget to pay the students. 

Similar local and national job boards charge businesses $50-150/job.  TechStudents.net wants to keep it easy and cost effective.

With a portion of the posting fees, TechStudents.net will be offering $500 scholarships to technology students.

How does TechStudents.Net differ from other job board sites?

TechStudents.net is focuses on connecting entrepreneurs and small businesses to skilled technology students to assist with technology related projects on an hourly basis. 

Often times many small businesses and nonprofits have limited IT staff and budget. These organizations are searching for a person(s) to assist with an upgrade, new deployment or technical maintenance. Some companies call colleges or ask professors for contacts but others have no idea how to reach skilled technology students.

At the same time, students struggle on how to find part-time work that will provide “real-life” experience. Both companies and students can benefit from an organized approach.

What information will be posted?

To bring together students and businesses, appropriate information will be posted on TechStudents.net. 

Technology students are requested to post name, mail address, email address, phone number, college, desired role, availability, hourly rate, and technology skills as well as a username and password. Optional information is relevant course/projects, GPA, and certifications.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses are requested to post contact name, mail address, email address, phone number, role, hours required, hourly rate, and technology skills as well as a username and password.

Does TechStudents.net process credit card transaction?

No, TechStudents.net utilizes PayPal (https://www.paypal.com) to collect and process all credit card transactions when businesses choose to post a job or access students’ contact information.    TechStudents.net will not have access to or collect any credit card information.

Why do we need to login to access contact information?

To ensure a higher level of quality participants we ask all guests to sign-in while accessing and utilizing many of our services.
